The last fantasy for the connector was between switches at Rheem. It is actually at a pretty hard angle, and I think the speed over the connector will be very slow, and foul the grade crossing at the east end of Rheem and also at the west end of the North Bay. I think a better location would be where the two railroads are closer and the angle is better, at North Bay. There would not be any grade crossings to block there.

However, no one consulted me.
