This week there has been some activity by M of W forces and possibly a contractor between Batterson and Salmonberry as heard on the radio. I believe it has been limited to working east from the coastal area up into the canyon cleaning out plugged culverts, removing fallen trees etc. While there are still people on the payroll, their hours and scope of work appears to be limited most likely awaiting confirmation of FEMA repair funds.
