Sadly, very few left. There was a chance to save more than a few of them. Unfortunately none of the preservation groups in Oregon are interested in a locomotive that defined Oregon railroad history for over 40 years from the 1950s until the 1990s.
P&W will scrap the couple they have, as soon as they are worn out (they've already scrapped several). POTB got rid of all but one (and two ex-BN models, one is chop-nosed.) Willamette Valley long got rid of theirs. ORHF has zero interest. CORP never had one. That leaves just George Lavacot's one in Oregon.
