AAPRCO Napa Valley Limited in Auburn

I ventured over to Auburn, WA this morning to get some video of the AARPCO special as it left the BNSF Seattle to Portland mainline and started up the Stampede Sub. The wye is curved pretty good, so the train speeds are fairly slow there, and there's a road right next to it with a sidewalk, os you can get nice shots without worrying about trespassing.

I showed up at 6:15 since the special was due at 6:30. Long story (and wait) short, they finally arrived about 8:45. It was worth the wait though, a huge train with 28 Private Cars in the consist and 4 Amtrak units on the point. Really looked great.
