Appreciate your interest in open cars. Cumbres & Toltec trains never leave town without one, usually behind the 480 series locomotive. Well appreciated. Bring backup clothing.

They may be viewed in the C&TS and FC&TSR websites. The cars are D&RGW gons. Cutouts in both ends. 2x6 benches for kneeling, and very low steel pipe railings all around. Well aged paint.

All revenue coaches have windows that open.

The coal comes from an underground mine West of Durango. 18 wheelers. Tastes great, to us true believers.
