Thanks for the information OPRRMS. It seems so long ago . It's ironic they mention riding the footboards in a safety film. The scene jumping across the roof running boards and being stranded on a car without ladders was funny also. There are You Tube safety films from the 40's that would make you cringe. Pulling pins and kicking cars safely from the footboards. Tieing down roof mounted handbrakes with a club in one hand.
