Back in '74 I worked a summer job with the UP out of Green River, WY. Friend and I "bummed" a ride into/from Salt Lake City.
On our return trip from SLC we deboarded the loco, at Green River, from the steps while the train was moving.
Probably one of the dumbest things I/we ever did.
