Midland Report Findings

The many videos didn't lie, with the truck continuing past the lights and lowering gates, and a general failure to provide for safety at the crossing, the NTSB has reportedly found this event was poorly planned, without a formal permit, and without an adequate safety plan, and UP pretty much did everything it was supposed to do, right.

It's still unfortunate, and hopefully some folks will learn from these things.....
