Re: 91 Line to Perris

The station platform in Perris has been in existence for several years. I keep getting emails from my Operation Lifesaver coordinator with the following tacked on at the end:

NOTE: Metrolink is extending the existing Metrolink 91 Line service from the Downtown Riverside station, 24 miles along the existing San Jacinto Branch Line terminating in Perris. A total of four new stations will be constructed to serve the Perris Valley Line. They will be located in Downtown Perris, South Perris, Moreno Valley/March Field and the Hunter Park business area. Thus, this is a great opportunity to provide education to the folks in that area.

Here is what it looked like in 2010 before and after my visit to Orange Empire Railway Museum for a railroad family day.
