There was an earlier deal to sell these to the Texas State Railroad for a new dinner train there. The money was allocated, but a consultant advised them not to buy the dome cars because in their opinion the window frames were rusting from the inside out and would soon fail. WCRC wanted to sell the entire train set only, so the deal got hung up. BNSF had already been contacted to see if a special move could be arranged for a dedicated move of the entire train set. The deal never went through, and ironically the Texas State Railroad's operator failed financially and the line's operations were assumed and currently operated by Iowa Pacific.
Shipping passenger cars and engines on a modern Class 1 is a nightmare. The railroads are just no longer familiar with passenger equipment or capable of special moves. Most of the recent moves I have heard of includes some kind of draft gear or wheel damage. Engines and passenger cars are braked at around double the ratio of an empty freight car, so their brake cylinder pressure has to be limited to keep from sliding the wheels if the engineer makes a full service reduction, and of course remembering to release the hand brake is a good idea. Any passenger car needs to have any buffer and diaphragm removed, because if there is any car with a shelf coupler some idiot will always couple it to the passenger car. Train placement and the buffer tangling with a shelf coupler is what got the WURR/INPR RDC move.
