What a time of year to lose loved ones in a tragic incident such as this derailment.

When I saw a photo of the derailment on the WSJ web site, I didn't realize that this was a push-pull operation. I was thinking perhaps a rail had rolled over, but most likely this is all CWR. We'll have to wait for the NTSB to determine the cause. Personally, I don't care for push-pull operations.

Not to be hijacking the thread for other reasons, people are waking-up to the idiots on CNN and other news networks, regarding their ineptness and biased news reporting, as noted in the article linked below, from a couple of days ago.
