Somehow I have this picture in my mind of the 491 sitting outside there sans tank. I know it eventually went to the Colorado RR Museum in Golden.
Was that a coach that had remained narrow gauge or one that had been converted to standard gauge after the demise of the major narrow gauge lines to Vera Cruz and Acambaro? As I recall again the NdeM used the oldest flat roof passenger cars on the line to Cuautla and Puebla. The vestibule cars were metal and looked modern by comparison.
