As long as this thread has hit an 18" radius curve guess I'll add a little. The one thing I
remember from C&H and this was late nineties was the vertical manlifts. They were an open conveyor
belt style lift with steps and grabs bolted to the belt which took workers up between the floors.
Totally open, no idea how OSHA allowed them to operate, maybe grandfathered in. The whole place
was like walking back in time but then the Amalgamated plants in Idaho are much the same.
