The photo was taken on Pacific Electric because the car is equipped with the pneumatic trolley pole used by PE. The auto looks like a 1939 DeSoto.

#1448 was built in 1913 for SP's Oregon electrified lines. After service in Oregon was reduced it was sent to PE on test in 1927. It was scrapped in 1953.

The logo on the car side is Railway Express Agency.
