The black antenna is good for 690-2700 MHz and the labels typically indicate MIMO and GPS. Their actual use is unknown to me but I believe it to be PTC related. GPS would make sense for time callibration. On the other hand, UP locomotives are receiving additional digital cell phone modems which could be used with MIMO technology.
