All locomotive maintenance is now at Roper. But North Yards still handles a large amount of traffic. I would say that it is still the "main" yard - I believe that it handles more trains a day than Roper does.

TOFC/COFC has been moved to a new facility out west - between about 48th West and 56th West, and between 6th and 9th South.
