The title says it all.

All of these tails of woe about the "jack booted" thugs and these awful encounters with RR dicks, sheriffs, and other cops show the reason why these organizations restrict access, and probably will increase those restrictions.

Yet, I have never been hassled once in about 50 years of snapping pix of choo choo's????

How can that be?

More responsible behavior in our society would make these restrictions less necessary. So maybe if the first question folks asked was am I being safe, it might make some of this less necessary. But people actually do stupid on RR property and get killed, and RR's actually do carry hazardous materials and people and have been subject to catastrophic accidents and terrorism, so security is here to stay on the RR's.

Some specific suggestions for some of our favorite "victims" of the "jack booted" train fan hating RR dicks his holiday season might help:

Just stay off the damn property, especially when it is clearly unsafe, when it is posted, and, of course, when the cops tell your to stay out.

Shoot photos from safe legally accessible locations, listen to the cops when they have concerns, and don't give them attitude, especially when you are on the property and clearly in the wrong. Attitude is the one consistent issue that seems to create the most problematic encounters in these tales of woe, so try following the rules, and try chilling when dealing with the man.

And then, like me, you'll probably have a lot less problems shooting rail photos.
