I am reminded of a day when I thought to photograph the inbound COSF at the Berkeley Station. I was down at the south end of the platform waiting when the station agent walked up to me saying pix were not allowed. I stepped out into the street and told him I was now on public property--not within his jurisdiction. He went back to his office grumbling, the train came, I took pix and left. The "friendly SP"

From another angle, I am a stockholder in a couple of RRs. IMHO you can't trespass on property you are a partial (no matter how tiny) owner of.
