NO!! Ask any meteorologist: This weather is life-threatening!
No one is being a "weather wimp" -- not when exposed
skin can get frostbitten (and die) in minutes!

As to naming storms -- I detest that. Just give them numbers:
i.e.: 2013-1, 2013-2, etc.
