almost forgot Petaluma and Santa Rosa 1-4, #3 and #4 were MU equipped and spent a lot of time hooked up together hauling tonnage in and around Petaluma. Talk about a great sight and sound experience, four Caterpillar diesels roaring up parallel to Lakeville Road with a long (for P & SR) train! Ahh, the memories....
