Derailment not much of an issue. Mainly weather delays and Amtrak equipment problems.
Understand Amtrak has an extra train set for the Builder staged at the west end, so no matter how late the westbound is, the eastbound starts out on time with another equipment set. Gives more time to service the trains on the west end of the run and also gives time to address mechanical issues before equipment gets turned east again. Didn't think Amtrak had enough equipment to do this, but they have as of late.
