Really nice b&w images there Bill. I didn't get there until 4 years later when the late Jack Holst took me on a tour of Portland. One of the little Prairies was still on the property and she was coupled to an equally old stock car. Jack introduced me to Arlie Slyffe and Ralph Reynolds. Both of these guys had worked prior at the nearby Oregon-American logging operation out of Vernonia. Ralph was regular engineer on Willamette 106 and Arlie had spent a lot of time on 2-6-2T 104. The 104 survived along with 2-6-2 105.
Thanks for the look into the past.
