PR impacts a lot of things, not necessarily stock purchase, but public opinion is important to stcok prices. A positive PR event might quiet some "on the fence" NIMBYs, the visibility may attract the attention of a business to shipping by rail.
And, BTW, WE are not the target audience--we're already very aware of railroads, so don't try to judge this from your perspective. I would imagine that the other big class ones are watching, and somewhere in their board rooms folks are saying things like, "Gee, lookit all the postive attention this is getting, what do we have that can do that??" Then the number crunchers will go to work. . . .
