Thanks for the info about the work on
the 4449. I am not "SPfan", but
"Margaret (SP fan)". I never have used any
other nym here other thann "Margaret (SP fan)".
I don't know who "SPfan" is, other than a fellow
fan of the Southern Pacific RR. (I wonder how
many other people who read AP have thought that
"SPfan" is me?)

To all those working on the 4449: keep up the
good work! (BTW -- I am very surprised that you
didn't remove all of the 4449's skirting. Sure
looked as though you would have needed to -- but,
then, I have never been to the ORHC, and am not
a Form 4 expert. Just wondering..... Oh, and die
guys remove all her flues and tubes, or did you leave
some in the boiler? If you left some in, why? Just
curious, as I like to learn more about one of the
most awesome locomotives ever made -- IMNSHO!)
