Do you guys think that Union Pacific, Norfolk Southern, Kansas City Southern, Florida East Coast, Corman Enterprises, Amtrak, Sound Transit, Canadian National,BNSF, CP, et al-- need the "services" of John Williams and Alan DeMoss ??? Are you kidding ?? Those corporations do fine without some make-believe outfit in Woodside, CA.
Also, John Williams has NO authority to dictate anything to NCRA. I also believe "BIT" when he says he was at the meeting in Eureka. I do NOT believe anything "Mike Pechner" has to say and never will. You guys say you don't like "rumors and hearsay".. Right??
Well for the past several YEARS on here, Mike Pechner has told of "grandiose dreams" of NWP this and NWP that and guess what ??? NOT one train has run on that old rusty, weed infested, critter-burrowed right of way in years.
There is NO quarry operation at Island Mountain or South Fork and never will be.
The NIMBY's would never allow it !!
I don't believe Mr. Pechner attends all of these NCRA meetings either. Someone who lives in the Bay Area with a good job and a family to support is NOT going to find time to DRIVE all the way to Eureka, CA for a two-hour BS meeting. Think about that, guys!
Be realistic, OK ?? Would you DRIVE all of that distance, for THAT ??
It is high time that this chirade be legally disposed of once and for all.
First off, send John Williams and his lackeys, packing ! Dissolve the NCRA!
Dissolve the NWP ! And then let "A&K Railroad Materials" come in and dismantle the entire route and return everything to nature and be done with it.. It is time to move on folks, NOW, and hand John Williams, Mitch Stogner and Mike Pechner their "crying towels" and one-way tickets back home. To continue this "deceit, these lies, these dreams"-- is an afront to all of us !!! It needs to be stopped NOW !! With the severe budget crisis at hand in the State of California, I hope the NCRA is totally cutoff from any other possible funding sources !
