As a frequent bus rider it has helped me learn good public etiquette. I am a more polite person because you have to deal with all kinds of people on a bus. You can tell right off the bat what kind of person it will be when they get on. Then you meet the people who like to talk bad about public transportation but when you ask them if they ride the bus they tell you no. They just say that's what they heard from others.
