Many of the VCTC staff are excellent, unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the current management. There seems to be clearly another agenda here which the Executive Director is pursuing, which appears to have little to do with transportation needs, or the purported "costs".

I wouldn't be surprised to find a real estate deal or some other side show running the politics on this one. Darren is certainly no Ginger and his inability to produce funding is certainly one factor in trying to find a "scapegoat" for expenses on the branch. Much of the expense went to the Montalvo improvements, of little or no benefit to the F&W, but insisted upon by the now "out" "new urbanist" set in the City of Ventura.

Dave's account jives with my experience and knowledge of the situation far more than the line being spun by VCTC's current management.
