Cumbres & Toltec and Durango & Silverton could qualify. Even though they are 3’ narrow gauge, they were both once connected as D&RGW and part of a much larger system that also interchanged with other narrow gauge RR’s (RGS) and with standard gauge trains too.
Black Hills Central Railroad in hill City South Dakota I don’t think is connected to outside rails?
Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie Washington operates very small segments that were once parts of NP and MILW branchlines.
The Fort Lincoln Trolley in Mandan North Dakota runs a trolley car over an old branchline, I think it was CB&Q? Maybe was NP. Even though the rails are old freight/passenger RR, the trolley itself isn’t a true train per say.
