This is just moving the game pieces around the board. True, the ability to speed up the transit of a container from ship to rail will be a benefit, and there will be new jobs, but there won't be MORE jobs than now. There will be less jobs at the other areas of the port once this displaces capacity there. The current west coast port activity is flat to no growth as a whole coupled with a wider Panama Canal and you have a big waste of time.
