RAIL CARS BROUGHT FOR V&T MAY ONLY BE WORTH THEIR STEEL, CONTRACTOR SAYS

<"Pinoli said the commission could resell the cars to another tourist line or SCRAP THEM to make up the cost.">

WHAT!!!!! I doubt the GGRM intended for the purchaser (ie V&T) to consider scrapping the cars for steel $$$ when they sold the cars to them. This guy doesn't know what he's started.

<"From a distance, they look great," said Pinoli, who has restored rail cars in his 15 years in the business. "But up close, you start seeing visible signs of wear, decay and aging.">

UH HELLO, they're 80+ years old. Did you think they were Ready-To-Run? Do you know what countless volunteers across the country with nowhere near the amount of state/grant/donation money that the V&T will see can and do on weekends at there respected museums and operations?

I hope this guy is not involved with the decision making process....
I'm getting worried about how this V&T thing is shaping up...
