Thanks so much for posting the link. I enjoyed looking at the photos and reading the narrative.

A number of years ago, I purchased the book Railroading Along the Waterfront, published by Walthers. It covers waterfront railroad operations and rail barges and car ferries throughout North America. It's a great reference for anyone interested in this subject.
