OK, I am not an expert. It really seemed to me
that OPB knows what he is talking about -- after
around 40 years as a signal engineer.
I am willing to learn, as always. Do you have
some facts to prove that PTC will not be an
unmitigated disaster? I am very interested in
reading some scientifically-proven facts that
would prove that OPB is wrong in what he has
written here on AP about PTC. Can you supply us
with those facts? I look forward to your reply.
TIA for any facts you can share that will help us
all understand why PTC is A Very Good Thing.

I also remember that OPB said that no one will
safety-certify PTC, as it is an unproven technology.
Can you cite sources that prove that statement is wrong?

P.S.: Is it true that PTC cannot work with steam
locomotives, and thus no steam locomotives will be
allowed to operate on any track with PTC?
