SP electric switch question

I seem to remember that the Dumbarton cutoff had some sort of electric switch or lock on some of the switches in East Palo Alto/Menlo Park. Does anybody know what type, make, or model? Any pics.

I remember they were a 'T' shaped pole with round glass faced boxes with some sort of pointer or indicator inside.
