It's too bad that Wilson seems doomed. Especially since WSDOT bought these lines to "preserve the rail service for current and future users", "to reduce truck traffic in order to help preserve roads" and to "promote energy efficiency and environmental conservation" Quotes from WSDOT's justifications to buy these and other lines from WATCO!!
Never mind they have done nothing but plan on adding trails with the lines in the Whitman
County area---from the beginning. More lies to the taxpayers.
