Wow! Where do you come up with this stuff, George?

There were never number boards in the class light assemblies on Santa Fe's PAs, and the class lights had both forward and side facing lenses, not just forward facing.

All Santa Fe PAs were built with three number boards, a small one on the roof line above the windshield centerpost, and one large one on each side of the carbody ahead of the carbody doors. All are clearly visible in the photos of the Santa Fe and D&H units that Jimmy420 posted on this thread.
