One of two such boats (Delta King and Delta Queen) built in Scotland and shipped over here in pieces for final assembly (in Stockton). Both were used for a little over 20 years on the overnight run between SF and Sac, until the highway system put them out of business. The Delta King has been tied up at the Old Sacramento riverfront between the I and M St. bridges for 25+ years, where it's a restaurant/hotel.

One thing is for certain, neither were built as Mississippi riverboats.
