As the author of one (so far) Morning Sun book, I want to confirm that Mr. Yanosey does indeed provide the authors with proof copies before the books go to the printer. In my case, there were several minor errors (typos, caption/photo mixups, etc.) that required a close review to put right, but nothing one wouldn't expect from such a project. As for historical or factual errors, the primary responsibility must lie with the author, to do their homework and check their facts. Mr. Yanosey is very knowlegeable, but this country's railroads are a huge subject, and no one person can be expected to have expertise in all its aspects. Personally, I made a great effort to "get it right." In my opinion, however, the most important thing is the multitude of wonderful photography that Morning Sun's books have brought to light.
