According to Vernon Sappers' book (Key System Street Cars, Signature Press, 2007), the line which served Grand Avenue (from Webster to Fairview) was designated #12 on June 16, 1928. That route number lasted until service was abandoned on June 27, 1948.

The line served other areas as well.
