Been a while since I used that road to drive in to where the UP plate girder bridge passes over the ex-SP&S grade turned bike trail. Not to be confused with the ex-NP bridge that's visible right from Anderson Road. From the Cheney end, you could still legally walk or bike in on the trail for shots of the UP. As for BNSF, there should still be a decent access road off of Anderson Road, unless that too has recently been gated. Gets fairly raunchy even for 4x4 about a half mile south, though. And of course it's only legal if you have a release. The trail has the added bonus of snakes, turtles, and other critters in the water ditches to keep you entertained between trains.
