Just this morning on the way to work I noticed the highway DOT sign said Hwy.2 is currently closed between Leavenworth and Coles Corners (where you turn off to go to Lake Wenatchee; by the 59'er Diner and the Squirrel Tree resturant); so it sounds like the fire is winning at the moment.
