Re: Environmental concerns=A lot of copy for a pretty poor story?

First of all it's an LA News Group story, a clearly "looking for something" so-so reporter, who appears to knows a little about this proposed project and the tragedy last year in Canada, and even less about oil by rail, oil in general, or how and why we pay what we do for gas, and the reason for those prices (like the Congressionally mandated phony farm state 17 cent a gallon ethanol extortion of CA gasoline consumers producing no real benefit either for energy independence or the environment?).
Second he seems to depend for these "concerns" on this self styled "save the world" dufus Denny to express "concerns" (whatever that means?) without going into too much detail about those "concerns", or how those concerns are any different from the issues we already have with the way we get our gasoline now. And, he is promoting his other dubious source with little to contribute on oil economics at "Gasbuddy".
All in all, this is not the worst article I've seen in these local cat box liners, like the Pasadena Star News or the SGV Tribune, just not the best.
He isn't even aware of the Monterey shale, and/or the current oil trains we already have operating for years safely, in the state. So please don't tell him.
