Some quick notes in response Mr. Don Kirk:

1. The economy stinks right now and will for sometime in the future. The scope of your pipedream is so large in its economic aspects that its not plausible.

2. If you really cared about railroad museums and preservation, your energies would be better focused on helping raising funds, coordinating volunteers and volunteering yourself at anyone of the great railroad museums in the state (Portola,PLA,CSRM,GGRM,OERM etc.)if you haven't been run out of them already.

3 You should have considered a little bit of public relations planning before trolling railfan sites with your "messy"plans.
The 'Dream' comes off a little EGOTISTICAL & MEGALOMANIACAL. Your spelling, grammar and unfamiliarity of railroad geography tell many of us in this hobby and/or work that you are unqualified to lead such a large undertaking. You are more interested in personal accomplishment with capitalist themes via a not for profit church organization.
