Nope. It happened just as people started getting off the train. The crewman walked ahead of the train to where I and some other railfans were. As for not buying a ticket, I barely had the money to afford getting there along with food and one ride during the day. Since they never explained on their website what was going to happen during the night run; I had thought the train was going to run from Sunol to Niles and back (since thats what they did at the last night run a few years back.) So I had thought the tickets were for people who only wanted to ride it and view the runbys (that I thought they were going to do.)
