If you are griping at my comments, you missed the point.

There are a couple of billionaire environmental nuts
who are spending tons of bucks and using every way
possible to stop or prevent exploration, drilling,
production, fracking, transporting, refining, and using
fossil fuels.

For them, this is another impediment to their enemies.
They don't give a hoot about pipes or tank cars or barges
or ships; they hate what those things carry, and if they
can upset things by going after the mode of transport, so
much the better for them.

I am not excusing Lac Megantic or the other tragedies.

My point is that no matter what the tank car industry
does to make it safer, it will NEVER be enough to
mollify these limosine liberals. They will just attack
another point in the fuel supply chain.
