Like most extremist's, some of these "self styled" environmental types are guided by emotional impulses, there is a very irrational self destructive nature to this point of view, which does to some degree come from and irrational sense of guilt over actions, which they seem unable to control. They adopt simplistic, dogmatic, ineffective, and even contradictory or irrational stances demanding redress for all of these purported terrible wrongs they feel, right now.
This is exactly the same social psychology, irrational and often self destructive, demonstrated by those on the extreme right, as well. Often stemming from irrational fears and frustration with changes, which these folks feel helpless to control. They adopt simplistic, dogmatic, ineffective, and even contradictory or irrational stances, demanding redress for all of these purported terrible wrongs they feel, right now.

Choo-choo's are fun though.... And, I can't wait to ride the Grand Canyon next March....
I note it's an oil road that is being proposed, not a coal road...... Wasn't there once a NG road up in these parts? I dimly seem to remember something about NG mallets that had something to do with this area of Utah and NW Colorado?
