please give out who were some of the many, many people and officers and who did they write to and call for the sleepy Sacramento Division people who would not wake up and properly upgrade and signal the eastbound main through Gerber to get the speed up both eastbound and westbnound. I know some one personmally that had personal involvement in this farce for over 30 years.
There was some pretty high powered political ramifications involved in the West Bound track upgading causing it to be left at 25mph. There was no one asleep for 20 years on this problem.
Maybe we can get some of the obstructional practices the TE&Y employees implanted to obstruct the run through to Dunsmuir.
11 and 12 had a station stop at Gerber until they were abolished. There was crew changes at Gerber for some time after the yard was abolished.
