Rail crude will be a boom bust commodity in some places, as more pipeline is built and converted to carry fracking crude, but continue to grow in others.

Now that oil prices are falling world wide, due to significant new oil and gas production coming on line in places like Bolivia, Brazil, and Africa, we should see some slowing of the rate of growth in the RR fracking boom over the next couple of years.

RR's should see this as an opportunity to "catch up" with crude oil demand, that will still likely be greater in the years ahead, due to the dispersed areas where fracking is likely to occur.

This is good news for filling up my pick up, it is real bad news if your a Russian oil tycoon or OPEC trying to maintain market dominance, in places like Europe.

Get ready for export oil by rail as markets increasingly diversify to avoid dependence on unstable and unreliable suppliers. And, since much of this export would be through ports in urban areas of the east, you'll really hear the Nimby's howl, when that happens.
