WOW - Quint St.; that brings back memories. The trucking Co. I drove for in SoCal used to have a terminal @ 50 Quint St. My regular run from 1990 to 1993 was Orange Co. to " The Gay Bay ", as opposed to " East Bay " ( Haywierd ) or " South Bay " ( San Josie ). Nothing like taking a set of doubles across the Bay Bridge, then down 101 to Army St., then 3rd St south. The yard was quite small; I had to break / hook in the street. Espee tracks ran down the middle of Quint, then took a sharp turn to cross 3rd. Espee would send a big rig tow down the street ahead of the local; you either moved your equipment RIGHT NOW or they would impound it. I was unaware U.P. was still using the trackage; wasn't the impending abandonment of this spur the reason Golden Gate RR Museum had to move???
