Not a done deal as far as I have heard. Still needs approval of city / maybe even county.

Send letters to San Rafael City Council and the WhistleStop, the owners.

Enough history has been lost in the Marin area. This lovely building is in great shape. It needs to survive. I have already begun drafting my letters. Be respectful in yours. Also, don't just say "You can't tear it down because I like it". Point out the historical and cultural message the depot brings to the area.
