SP trains 387/379 "Mexican Express"

Anybody familiar with Southern Pacific trains 378 and 379 named the Mexican Express that operated between Tucson and Nogales, Arizona? A 1949 employee timetable gives a schedule for it, but a 1953 public timetable indicates it is now a bus connection. I am interested in the consist and power in its last years.

BTW - I have found trains 952/953 Clifton-Lordsburg still running as a mixed as late as 1963 per public timetable, maybe longer?
